Basic ECG Software Use


  1. The ECG Software is called "Office Medic".  Click. on the desktop shortcut.
  2. If the patient is pre-existing, they will be found in the list titled "Calibration Data"
  3. If the patient is new, they must be registered.  Start this by clicking the icon of the person with the green plus arrow.
  4. A registration window opens.  Anything with an asterisk is required.  When done click "OK"
  5. Select the patient from the list
  6. Make sure your ECG leads are plugged into a USB port/extension
  7. Click the menu item with the ECG image to the left of the question mark symbol
  8. The ECG should start immediately.
